Anyone with even the slightest interest in politics knows that this is one of the most contentious times in recent history. The fighting and bickering about where to cut in federal, state and local budgets has both conservatives and liberals alike fighting like cats on a hot tin roof. Unions and Tea Party advocates are just the latest example of fighting for turf to maintain the status quo or return a wee-bit more control of taxpayers money back to the taxpayer.
As the players continue the blame game and hack at each others share of the loot, the underlying enabler continues to grow and receive even more power. For you Lincoln Lovers, being this month is the anniversary of his inauguration I will use a quote from King himself. "The money powers prey upon the nation in times of peace and conspire against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than a monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, and more selfish than bureaucracy. It denounces as public enemies all who question its methods or throw light upon its crimes. I have two great enemies, the Southern Army in front of me and the bankers in the rear. Of the two, the one at my rear is my greatest foe."
The Central Banks or as it is popularly referred to, The Federal Reserve, continues to destroy our economic way of life while pitting neighbor against neighbor. This has been the history of central banking from time immemorial. Federal Reserve policy and the effects of it on our money has been not only to destroy the value of our currency but also enable all government levels to spend with abandon. Some of the terrible results of the FED are boom & bust cycles which we continue to see more and more of. Inflation, which destroys the value of the dollar while at the same time punishing those who save for their future. Higher prices for all goods and services including the need for more and more government subsidies and regulation. Federal Reserve Bankster's also contribute to the big spending politicians everywhere yet most of all in Washington as they are able to somewhat hide the costs of the empire of the welfare-warfare state.
Their are 2 very important bills in Congress right now that every patriotic loving American should demand their congress-critter to co-sponsor. These bill entitled "The Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2011" are H.R 459 currently with 97 co-sponsors and S. 202 with 3 co-sponsors. These bills if enacted, would require a full audit of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Federal Reserve Banks by the Comptroller General of the United States before the end of 2012. These 2 bills would expose the fraud that these banks are and put America back on track from the economic abyss of a total dollar collapse. Last year with the help of both conservatives and liberals of all flavors the Audit the Fed bill had over 320 co-sponsors in the House while the Senate version had 32. The Audit can be done and it must for the sake of our future.
Henry Ford was correct when he said; "It is well that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning." So in closing, the next time you begin to argue or throw stones with folks who are hurting just like the rest of us, make sure your aim is directed at the root of the problem and not the branches.
